Charity Conference from Russell New, Brighton, 7th November 2013

To mark Trustees’ Week 2013, Russell New, a firm of business, tax and charity advisers based in Upper Beeding, West Sussex, are hosting a Charity Conference at the Brightonandhovejobs.com County Cricket Ground, Brighton & Hove, on Thursday November 7th 2013. 

Starting at 9.30am, the event will consist of several break-out sessions and two key note speeches from Peter Hepburn, Chief Executive of Cats Protection and Glynn Jones, Chair of Sussex Emmaus.

Hosted by speakers from Russell New, JM Finn & Co, ASB Law and JTA Consulting, the topics of the break-out sessions throughout the day include Effective Governance, Investments and Policy Setting, Strategic Planning and Collaboration. The event will also feature a sector update session which will cover financial and governance matters.
It highlights the role of the trustee and to draw attention to the opportunities for people from various demographics to get involved. With no formal qualifications required, this can create opportunities for those interested to become a charity trustee.
