The Financial Times Non-Executive Directors' Club is hosting an event on 6th November 2013 for Trustees' Week, titled So You Want to be a Charity Trustee?

Aimed primarily at aspiring and new charity trustees, this event looks at all aspects of the role, from how to decide whether a charity is right for you and what to expect of the selection process, the key responsibilities of a charity trustee, funding issues, hot topics at the moment, board dynamics in practice and how to make the transition from a corporate life to a charity board.

Our speakers will include Patrick Dunne and Tom Lawson, of Leap Confronting Conflict; Andrew Hobbs from EY LLP; Christine Rigby of Bates Wells & Braithewaite and an experienced trustee. Delegates will have plenty of opportunities to question the speakers during the event as well as networking with them and with other delegates throughout the day and at the post-event drinks reception.

This is a half day workshop starting at 12.30pm and finishing with a networking drinks reception from 6pm. It will be held at the Financial Times’ offices in London, UK and the price of this half day workshop is £354 including VAT.
