In partnership with Farrer & Co law firm, Governance magazine, is running an evening offering two free seminars on Monday 4th November (4-7pm) for chairs, treasurers and trustees, to discuss topics under our over-arching theme 'Surviving in Hard Times'.

Seminar A When hard times hit: spotting the signs and knowing what to do when faced with really tough financial times.
Seminar B Finding new sources of finance: developing a business proposition for generating social investment in your charity.
The seminars, under Chatham House rules, will begin with introductions followed by an experienced main speaker and an interactive discussion session. After the individual seminars, delegates are invited to join together for a networking drinks reception.
Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
